What is Antiwordle?
Antiwordle reverses the usual hidden-word objective. You want to make as many valid guesses as possible before you are forced to spell the answer. Each accepted word narrows what you can type next: absent letters are removed from play, present letters become compulsory, and exact matches lock into their positions.
How to play
- Press Play to open the daily five-letter board.
- Enter a valid five-letter word with the on-screen or physical keyboard and submit it with Enter.
- Keep yellow letters in later guesses, leave red letters in their fixed slots, and avoid gray letters.
- Look for another legal word that delays completing the hidden answer.
What do the three letter colors require?
Gray means the letter is absent and cannot be used again. Yellow means it must appear in later guesses, but its position is not fixed. Red means the letter is correct in that position and must stay there.
Is a lower guess count better?
No. The objective is to delay guessing the hidden word for as many valid attempts as possible. A quick solution ends the very run you are trying to extend.
Does refreshing discard a guess?
It did not in the tested desktop and phone sessions. The submitted word and its colored keyboard feedback were still present after reload. This is same-browser persistence, not evidence of cross-device syncing.
