What is Rabbit Hole?

Rabbit Hole gives you a starting word and a visible destination. Each hop must rhyme with the current word or connect through a similar or opposite meaning. Accepted words become a labeled chain, so the challenge is finding a route through vocabulary rather than discovering a hidden answer.

How to play

  1. Open Today and select Let’s hop, then dismiss the instructions to reach the first input.
  2. Read the starting word and destination, then enter a rhyme, synonym or antonym of the current word.
  3. Submit your word and wait for an accepted hop and its relationship label before choosing the next connection.
  4. Continue from the new word toward the destination, looking for a route with fewer hops.

Do you have to change one letter per hop?

No. Rabbit Hole checks relationships between words: rhymes, synonyms and antonyms. The words do not need to differ by exactly one letter. Read the relationship label on an accepted hop to see how it connects to the previous word.

What happens after an accepted word?

The accepted word becomes the new starting point for your next hop, and the hop counter advances. You are still trying to reach the same visible destination; a useful word should offer another connection toward that target.

Can you resume after refreshing?

Yes. Select Resume on the landing page to reopen an unfinished route in the same browser. Your accepted words and hop count stay with that saved route.
