What is Flag Painter?

Flag Painter removes one color from each of five national flags. Recreate the missing shade with three sliders, then submit it to see how closely your mix matches the original.

How to play

  1. Press Play to open the daily set of five flags.
  2. Adjust Hue, Saturation and Brightness to mix the missing color.
  3. Press Done to see the color comparison and points, then move to the next flag.

What do the three sliders change?

Hue chooses the color, saturation makes it stronger or greyer, and brightness makes it darker or lighter. The board previews the mix before you press Done.

How are your colors scored?

After Done, the official board compares your color on the left with the original on the right. Closeness is shown from 0.00 to 10.00, and each of the five flags is worth up to 20 points.

Does Flag Painter keep your colors after a refresh?

In the tested desktop and touch browsers, refreshing returned to an intro with Continue. Choosing Continue kept the accumulated points and moved to the next flag, rather than replaying the previous comparison.
