What is Clocked?

Clocked reveals the whole daily quiz when you start the timer. Type any answer you know into a single box: a correct response fills its matching question automatically and clears the input. Questions cover mixed subjects and are roughly ordered from easier to harder. Everyone receives the same quiz, with one attempt per day.

How to play

  1. Select Start the clock to reveal all twenty questions and begin five minutes.
  2. Read the questions and type an answer into the shared answer box.
  3. Wait for a correct answer to fill its question automatically; no Enter press is needed.
  4. Move between questions in any order until time runs out, all twenty are answered or you choose Give up.

Do you have to select a question or press Enter?

Neither. Type into the single answer box in any order, and matching answers fill their questions automatically. If a question supplies part of a phrase, enter only the missing part.

Do spelling and punctuation have to be exact?

Capitalization, accents and punctuation do not matter, and an initial “the” is optional. The official rules also accept numbers as digits or words, common alternate names and small typos; pause briefly for a close spelling to be checked.

What happens when the quiz ends?

The quiz ends at twenty correct answers, when the timer reaches zero or when you give up. Missed answers are revealed. Share result copies your score and a spoiler-free green-and-black grid rather than the answer list.
