What is Gridee?

Gridee is a daily word puzzle from Dad Bomb Games. Each puzzle gives you a theme and a five-by-five letter grid. Connect letters to find the theme words: those letters disappear and the remaining letters fall into place, changing the paths available for your next word. Other valid words help charge hints but do not clear the grid. The order and the path you choose matter, and Undo lets you reconsider a choice that leaves you stuck.

How to play

  1. Read the daily theme and look at the blank theme-word slots beneath the grid.
  2. Drag or tap letters to spell a word; the official instructions say to tap the last letter again to submit.
  3. Find theme words to remove their letters and let the remaining letters fall into new positions.
  4. Use Undo if a word path blocks your next move, or find three bonus words to earn a hint.

Why do the letters move after a word?

Finding a theme word removes its letters, and the remaining letters fall into the gaps. Your next word must use the new layout. The official tutorial warns that choosing a different path for the same word can affect whether later words remain possible.

Do bonus words clear the grid?

No. Only theme words remove letters. Bonus words charge the Hint button, with a hint earned for every three bonus words according to the official tutorial.

What if your word path leaves you stuck?

Use Undo and try another way to make the word. Gridee also offers a Hard mode that hides the target word lengths and lists found words in discovery order; this is a display setting described by the official settings panel.
