What is Think in Odds?
Think in Odds presents a daily probability problem rather than a general-knowledge quiz. Read the question and its assumptions, work out the requested quantity, then enter a number or fraction when the puzzle asks for one. An optional scratchpad lets you keep your reasoning beside the answer. Hints offer a way forward without immediately opening the solution, and the archive provides previous questions.
How to play
- Read the question and open Read the assumptions to check how its random events are defined.
- Use Work it out for optional scratch work, then enter the requested answer in the stated units.
- Select Check answer and read the feedback. Revisit your reasoning or request a hint if the answer is not accepted.
- Use Reveal solution only when you are ready to end the attempt and read the explanation.
Where should you start if the wording seems ambiguous?
Open Read the assumptions before calculating. The question's random setup and requested units determine what you should answer. The optional Work it out area is a place for your own reasoning, not a second answer submission.
Can you retry without revealing the answer?
Yes. An incorrect answer produces feedback and lets you reconsider it. Give me a hint is separate from Reveal solution. Revealing the full solution ends that attempt, so choose a hint when you still want to work toward the answer yourself.
Will your work survive a reload?
Answers, scratch work, hints and progress are kept in the browser. Clearing site data removes that local work; it is not an account-based cross-device save. The email subscription is optional and separate from playing a puzzle.
