What is Wordly?
Wordly gives the familiar color-clue word puzzle an extra column: every answer and guess has six letters. Green, yellow and gray tiles narrow the possibilities across six attempts. The current daily puzzle is free to play without an account.
How to play
- Choose Easy or Hard mode before making your first guess.
- Type a valid six-letter word and press Enter.
- Keep green letters in their positions, move yellow letters, and use gray feedback to reconsider your candidates.
- Submit further valid words until you find the answer or use all six attempts.
- In Hard mode, reuse the revealed clues in every later guess.
An extra column changes the word patterns
Every guess and answer has six letters, so your candidates need to fit a longer pattern than a five-letter word puzzle. Green and yellow clues remain tied to positions and letters, while gray feedback helps you reconsider possibilities. The extra column changes the words you are looking for, not the basic feedback rhythm.
Hard mode makes the clues binding
Choose Easy or Hard before your first guess. In Hard mode, the clues you reveal must be reused in later guesses; they are constraints rather than information you can set aside. Both modes give you six attempts, but that choice changes how freely you can explore the remaining word patterns.
