What is Tumblers?
Tumblers puts ten digits around a circle and asks you to open a four-digit lock. Everyone receives the same daily code, and each digit occurs only once in that code. After an attempt, ticks lock correct digits while arrows describe the direction of the missed ones around the circle. A diamond adds a short-distance clue. With only four attempts, reading those symbols correctly matters more than treating the code as an ordinary larger-or-smaller number.
How to play
- Enter four digits and press Attempt. The hidden code uses four different digits from 0 to 9.
- Keep ticked digits: they are correct and remain locked for your later attempts.
- Follow clockwise or counterclockwise arrows for missed digits. A diamond says the target digit is one or two steps away in either direction.
- Change at least one digit and submit again. You have four attempts before waiting for the next lock.
Do the arrows work like higher and lower?
No. They follow the circle, not a straight number line. A counterclockwise arrow from 0 leads toward 9. The end of a drawn arrow is not the answer, so do not read its endpoint as a specific target digit.
Does a missing diamond mean the digit is far away?
No. An arrow without a diamond provides direction only. A diamond explicitly identifies a distance of one or two steps, either way around the circle. Several dials can show diamonds on the same attempt.
Will an accidental repeat waste a try?
The game warns about repeated digits within a guess before spending the attempt. Submitting the same four digits again also asks for confirmation. Correct digits stay locked, so revise the remaining positions rather than trying to replace those ticks.
