What is Hundo?

Hundo combines a ten-question daily quiz with a hand of cards from ace to ten. Read each question before choosing how much of your hand to risk. Once you commit a card, four answers appear and you have 20 seconds to choose. Cards can only be used once, so confidence matters as well as factual knowledge.

How to play

  1. Select Deal Me In to open the daily hand of ten cards.
  2. Read the question and select an unused card: higher values put more points at stake.
  3. Commit the bet, then choose one of the four answers within 20 seconds.
  4. Read the explanation and move to the next question with your remaining cards.

When does the answer timer start?

The question is visible before you bet. Committing your chosen card reveals the four answers and starts a 20-second answer window. Use the question-reading stage to decide how much confidence the bet deserves.

Can you use the same card twice?

No. Each card plays once across the ten questions. A correct answer adds its value; a wrong answer burns it. The official rules also award a +5 run bonus for neighboring successful values such as 6 and 7, with a perfect hand totaling 100.

What happens if you close an active bet?

An unanswered committed card can burn when the page closes. In a tested reload, the game advanced to the next question and explicitly reported that the card had burned. Reloading after an accepted answer restored the score and the remaining nine cards.
