What is Glimmer Haul?
Glimmer Haul is a free browser game from Dayplay Games built around one timing decision: keep growing your ring for a bigger haul, or release and collect what you have. Stars only add points when the ring returns home. Each run lasts up to 75 seconds and gives you three chances; spike hits lose the stars you are carrying, while collected points stay. You can play without an account.
How to play
- Open the Daily challenge and select Play; read the named world shown for today.
- Hold the play area, the Hold to grow button or Space to expand the ring toward stars.
- Watch the held-star countdown and nearby spikes, then release to bring the ring home and collect points.
- Bring back three or four stars for 2×, or five or more for 3×; only a completed return banks the haul.
- Finish before the timer or three spike hits end the run, then use Copy score challenge to share the dated challenge.
When do the stars actually become points?
Only when the ring gets back home. Growing the ring can gather stars without changing your collected score. Three or four stars in one completed trip earn 2×; five or more earn 3×. The held-star countdown warns that waiting too long can lose stars before you collect them.
Does hitting a spike erase the whole score?
No. A hit drops the stars you are carrying and uses one of your three chances, but points already collected stay. Three hits or the 75-second timer end the run. A star fading does not cost a chance.
Can a friend replay the same daily challenge?
Yes. Copy score challenge produces a dated link with a rules version and your collected score. The daily pattern is shared and retries are unlimited, so friends can try to beat it. Decisions still affect the result; Fresh run creates a different pattern instead.
