What is Dordle?

Dordle applies each five-letter guess to two hidden words at once. The daily game gives both boards the same seven submissions, so a useful test word can reveal letters on one side while finishing the other.

How to play

  1. Choose daily dordle on the official game’s title screen.
  2. Type or tap a five-letter word, then submit it with the return key.
  3. Compare feedback on both boards and solve both words within seven shared guesses.

Are guesses shared between the two words?

Yes. Submitting one five-letter guess puts that word on both boards. You have seven guesses in total, not seven for each side.

What do the colored letters tell you?

Feedback distinguishes a letter in the correct position, a letter present elsewhere, and a letter absent from that answer. Compare the two boards separately: the same letter can receive different feedback on each.

Does the daily puzzle survive a refresh?

The tested desktop and touch sessions returned directly to the daily board after refresh and preserved the submitted word and its cell-by-cell feedback. Free mode is a separate choice from the numbered daily puzzle.
