What is RelayWords?

RelayWords applies each guess to all unfinished boards. The extra connection is a relay: an answer’s last letter starts the next answer, so solving a leg exposes a green starting-letter hint for its neighbor.

How to play

  1. Open today’s puzzle and dismiss the instructions.
  2. Enter a five-letter word and submit it with the on-screen keyboard or Enter.
  3. Read each board’s feedback and use solved legs to reveal the next leg’s first letter.

How many guesses do the four boards share?

Nine. Every submitted guess is evaluated on all unsolved boards. Green marks the right letter and place, yellow a misplaced letter, and dark feedback an absent letter.

What do the keyboard quadrants show?

Each key has four quadrants, one for each leg. The top-left quadrant belongs to Leg 1, letting you compare a letter’s usefulness across boards.

How is the relay scored?

The instructions award 10 points per solved leg and two per unused guess on a complete relay. On themed days, identifying the hidden theme adds 15 points.
