What is Squirdle?

Squirdle Daily hides one Pokémon and gives you nine guesses. Each submitted name produces five clues: generation, two type slots, height and weight. Compare the arrows and type matches to narrow your next pick rather than guessing names at random.

How to play

  1. Type a Pokémon name, choose it from the autocomplete list and press Submit.
  2. Read the generation, Type 1, Type 2, height and weight feedback; arrows show whether your guess was too high or too low.
  3. Combine those clues to identify the hidden Pokémon before using all nine guesses.

What do the arrows and colored clues mean?

An upward arrow means the guessed generation, height or weight was too low; a downward arrow means it was too high. Green marks a correct match, red an incorrect one, and yellow means a Pokémon type belongs in the other type slot.

Do I need to spell every Pokémon name exactly?

The name field offers matching Pokémon as you type. Select an entry before submitting; with Pokémon Info on, the suggestions also show generation, types, height and weight.

How is Daily different from Free Play?

Daily uses a limited set of guesses for the day and identifies midnight in your local time as its reset. The separate Free Play page offers a New Game control for another round. Use the daily link for the shared daily challenge.
