What is Dot Hopper?
Dot Hopper is a daily peg-solitaire puzzle with more than one colour. Select a dot, then jump it over another dot of the same colour into an empty hole. The jumped dot disappears. Each board shows separate remaining-dot counts and goals for its colours, so a move that helps one colour can change the space available to the other. The round ends when no legal same-colour hops remain.
How to play
- Check the remaining-dot counters and the colour-specific goals above the daily board.
- Select a dot, then select an empty hole two positions away with a same-colour dot between them.
- Keep making legal hops to remove dots; a dot cannot hop over a different colour.
- Use Undo to reconsider a move or Reset to start the board again.
Which dots can you hop over?
Only a dot of the same colour. Select your dot and then an empty hole two positions away; the matching dot between the two is removed. A different-colour dot cannot be jumped.
When does a round end?
When no legal same-colour hops remain, even if dots are still on the board. The official tutorial ranks finishes by how few dots remain and describes one dot as a perfect finish.
Can you refresh to continue a run?
Not in our tested desktop and phone sessions: refreshing returned the unfinished puzzle to its starting board. Use the visible Undo control to reconsider moves without refreshing.
