What is Hisorty?
Hisorty is a daily history puzzle built around relative chronology. Six illustrated event cards begin out of order. Drag them into a timeline from earlier to later and check the arrangement. You start with three attempts, and the feedback reports how many of the six positions are correct.
How to play
- Choose Play on the official home screen to enter the dated daily puzzle.
- Read the six event cards and drag them into chronological order, following the Earlier and Later labels.
- Select Check Order when you are ready to spend an attempt.
- Read the correct-position count and attempts remaining, then use Try Again to revise an unsuccessful arrangement.
Do you need to enter exact years?
No. The input is the order of six event cards, not a typed date. Use what you know about which events came before others to build the timeline.
How many times can you check the timeline?
You begin with three attempts. An unsuccessful Check Order submission uses one and reports how many of the six positions are correct. Try Again lets you revise the arrangement while attempts remain.
What happens if you refresh an unfinished puzzle?
In the tested unsigned-in desktop and mobile sessions, refreshing returned to the home screen. Choosing Play restored the submitted arrangement, feedback and two remaining attempts. The official privacy policy says unsigned-in progress is kept in this browser’s local storage, so clearing browser data removes it.
