What is Magnitudle?

Magnitudle's Daily Question asks you to estimate a quantity with one committed guess. Unlike Size It Up, this mode works with a number and its stated unit rather than resizing a picture. It is one of the free browser games on Magnitudle's official site.

How to play

  1. Read today's question and check the unit shown above the answer field.
  2. Think through a rough estimate using quantities or comparisons you already know.
  3. Enter your number, using the scale buttons when you need a larger magnitude.
  4. Select Lock In to submit your single estimate and view the result.

A plausible number needs the right magnitude

The answer field asks for a quantity in a stated unit, so the scale matters as much as the digits. Use known quantities as rough comparisons, then check that the magnitude you select matches the number you intend to submit. The scale buttons are part of entering that estimate.

One commitment, not a trail of guesses

Daily Question gives you one question and one guess. You cannot use a sequence of submitted estimates to narrow the answer, so the reasoning happens before Lock In. Unlike Size It Up, there is no silhouette to adjust: you have to express your judgment as a number.
