What is Daily Perp?
Daily Perp turns a crime scene into a grid of suspects. Start with one revealed statement, then use its wording to prove another person guilty or innocent. Each accepted deduction reveals a new statement; an unsupported accusation counts as a slip.
How to play
- Read the given innocent suspect’s statement and the case’s total number of guilty people.
- Select a sealed suspect and choose Guilty or Innocent only when the revealed statements prove that choice.
- Use each newly unsealed statement to classify the remaining suspects and close the case.
Why was a mark counted as a slip?
A mark must follow from the statements already unsealed. A wrong or currently unprovable mark counts as a slip, even if you think the suspect looks likely. A hint also costs one slip.
What changes on Liars’ Night?
On Thursdays and Sundays, guilty suspects’ statements are false while innocent suspects still tell the truth. Classify a speaker before treating their statement as reliable; the case labels this rule explicitly.
What do “neighbor” and “between” mean?
A neighbor is directly above, below, left or right, not diagonal. “Between” excludes the two named endpoints and applies along their shared row or column. These distinctions decide which suspects a statement covers.
