What is Border Hopper?
Border Hopper gives you a starting country, a destination and a map. Name countries between them to work out a land-border route. The board shows the shortest route length and distinguishes useful countries from detours and off-route guesses.
How to play
- Choose the daily Easy or Hard route and read its two endpoint countries.
- Type a country into the country field, use the suggestions if needed, and press Guess.
- Use the map feedback and move counter to find the connecting countries before using up the displayed move allowance.
What do the map colors mean?
The map legend distinguishes shortest-route countries, detours and off-route countries. Read that feedback alongside the move counter; naming a real country does not by itself make it part of the shortest connection.
How many countries do I need to find?
The board states the number of countries in between the two endpoints. That number excludes the named start and finish. The move allowance is displayed separately above the map.
Can I continue after refreshing?
In the tested Easy game, refreshing returned to the route picker. Choosing Easy again restored the submitted country and the move counter. Use the same browser storage to return to that progress.
