What is Travle?

Travle is a daily geography puzzle about building a connected journey between two named countries. Enter countries or territories to fill the route and read the feedback after each guess. The map begins with the endpoints rather than a labeled atlas, so knowing neighboring countries matters more than recognizing a single silhouette.

How to play

  1. Read the starting country and destination above the map.
  2. Enter a country or territory; on mobile, tap the entry field to open the country picker.
  3. Select your country and submit it with Guess or the desktop Enter key.
  4. Read the feedback and continue connecting the route, watching the available-guess counter.
  5. If needed, use the hint controls for the next outline, all outlines or country initials.

What do the feedback symbols mean?

A check mark means an optimal step closer to completing the route. A green square is a useful shortest-path guess that is not the next connected step; orange indicates a nearby option that does not bring you closer, and red marks a significant detour. Countries not connected to the start are colored gray on the map. Feedback depends on the countries already guessed, not only on the original shortest route.

Do bridges and overseas territories count?

Bridges and tunnels count, but an exclave does not let you teleport across a country. The official rules specifically exclude using Kaliningrad to connect Poland with mainland Russia or Spanish territories to connect mainland Spain with Morocco. Travle also makes stated exceptions for Ireland joining the United Kingdom and Indonesia joining the mainland through Malaysia.

Can you play more than the daily route?

Yes: the official menu offers Practice & Challenge separately from Daily, alongside a weekly challenge. The FAQ says past daily puzzles are not available as a daily archive and directs players to Practice instead. These are separate choices, not additional guesses on your current daily route.
