What is Letter Loaf?
Letter Loaf is a daily word-building game with three pairs of starting and ending letters. For each pair, enter words of at least four letters that bridge those endpoints. Longer words earn more points, and your scores across all three rounds move you toward the Perfectionist tier. It is the namesake game in a bakery-themed collection that also includes Griddle and Breadcrumbs.
How to play
- Choose one of the three daily letter pairs above the entry area.
- Build a word of at least four letters that begins with the first letter and ends with the second.
- Use the on-screen keyboard and press Enter to submit; accepted words appear under My Words.
- Try longer words for more points and work through the other pairs. If stuck, Give up this round locks in that round and reveals words you could have played.
Which words can you enter?
Words must contain at least four letters and match both endpoints of the selected pair. Use the first letter at the start and the second at the end; the letters between them are your choice.
How do you raise your score?
The official rules reward longer words with more points. Scores from all three rounds contribute to your tier, so switching pairs gives you a new constraint to work on. My Words keeps the accepted entries for the selected pair.
What does Give up this round do?
It locks in your score for that round and shows words you could have played. Treat it as finishing that round, not as a hint button to press before you have tried your own words.
