What is Perceptle?
Perceptle is a daily set of five small perception challenges: Count, Track, Angle, Tempo and Split. The format switches tasks instead of asking you to solve a word or recall a fact. In Count, dots appear briefly before you enter an estimate. Track asks where a ball will land after it disappears. Each event contributes to the final result.
How to play
- Choose Play on the dated daily screen, then read the first event instructions.
- Press Ready, watch the dots, and enter your estimate when the number field appears.
- Press Submit to see your points and counting error, then follow the instructions for the next event.
- Work through all five events for the combined score; the required action changes between events.
What happens after the dots disappear?
Enter a number in the dot-count field and press Submit. Count reports points and how many dots your estimate missed by before moving to Track. You estimate a briefly shown group rather than counting a board that stays visible.
Does refreshing preserve an unfinished run?
Not in the tested unfinished run. Refreshing after Count had advanced to Track returned to the start screen on both desktop and phone. Plan to finish the short sequence without refreshing; this observation does not describe storage of completed scores.
Are all five events counting tasks?
No. The official event list is Count, Track, Angle, Tempo and Split. Track asks you to predict a disappearing ball’s landing point, while Tempo asks you to keep a beat after the reference stops. Read each event’s instructions rather than carrying the previous input method forward.
