What is Daily Hamster?

Daily Hamster brings RhymeHamster’s ear for wordplay into daily puzzles. Its menu offers Mission: Ignition and Tuba Scuba. In Tuba Scuba, six short clues describe pairs of words that rhyme perfectly. Separate letter spaces show the lengths, while the clues move from one-syllable rhymes to two- and three-syllable rhymes. The challenge is hearing a phrase that fits the joke as well as the rhyme.

How to play

  1. Open Daily Hamster and choose Tuba Scuba from today’s games.
  2. Read a clue and check the two sets of letter spaces for the required word lengths.
  3. Enter the two rhyming words in their letter cells; a completed correct pair is recognized by the game.
  4. Work through the remaining clues and watch the points total. Hint controls are available beside the clues.

Do one-syllable rhymes require one-syllable words?

No. Tuba Scuba’s introduction distinguishes the number of rhyming syllables from the length of each word. Its examples include guitar and star as a one-syllable rhyme. Listen to the shared ending rather than rejecting a longer word outright.

How do you submit a Tuba Scuba answer?

Type into the individual letter cells for each of the two words. A completed correct pair is recognized on the board, which replaces the editable cells with the answer and updates the points total. You do not need to find a separate Submit button.

Can you return to a partly solved board?

A partly solved board keeps its answered pairs and points when you refresh in the same browser. Return to the same dated puzzle to continue the remaining clues.
