What is Word Pizza?
Word Pizza asks you to choose words rather than find a hidden answer. Start with three letters and build up to a seven-letter crust. Each new word starts with the last letter of the previous word, while fixed pepperoni letters constrain the available choices. Letter values and increasing row multipliers make the finished chain a scoring puzzle.
How to play
- Press Play and enter a three-letter word using the on-screen keyboard.
- Submit with Enter; the next row is one letter longer and begins with your previous word’s last letter.
- Build around the fixed pepperoni letters and consider the highlighted daily topping letters.
- Finish all five words to receive a score and a pizza grade.
How do letter scores work?
Rarer letters are worth more. Rows multiply their word score from 1× at the tip to 5× at the crust, and the day’s two topping letters are worth 10 points each.
Is there just one correct chain?
No. You choose your own words within the length, linking and fixed-letter constraints. The score is graded against the day’s best possible score as Burned, Toasty, Saved or Supreme.
Do I need to sign in?
No. The official site says scores and streaks are saved on the current device, with optional Apple or Google sign-in for cross-device progress. A tested first word survived refresh on desktop and phone.
