What is RETESS?
RETESS gives you one short look at six objects on a four-by-four grid. After they disappear, rebuild the board from memory: choose six positions, assign a shape to each object, then add its colour. Each stage locks before the next, so a position mistake cannot be repaired while choosing colours. There is no time limit during reconstruction.
How to play
- Press Play and study the six objects during the six-second look.
- Select six cells on the empty grid, then choose Lock positions.
- Tap each selected object and assign its shape before locking shapes.
- Assign a colour to each object and press Finish to see your Daily Score.
Can you change a previous layer?
No. Locking positions moves you to shapes, and locking shapes moves you to colours. Finish each layer before committing; the original board returns only after reconstruction.
How is the score divided?
Positions are worth 50 points, shapes 30 and colours 20. A shape earns credit only with the correct position. Colour needs the correct position and colour, even if the shape is wrong. Each part is split across six objects, and the total is rounded once.
Does refreshing give you another look?
No. RETESS remembers when the daily look started. Leaving during it ends the exposure, and returning continues from memory. Progress, Daily Scores and retries stay in that browser rather than transferring between devices.
