What is Tollway?

Tollway turns a small numbered grid into an exact-total route puzzle. Move from the starting square through adjacent toll squares and reach the exit with the specified sum. The interface shows your running total and the amount still needed, so a route can be checked one step at a time.

How to play

  1. Read the target total above the grid.
  2. Tap a square next to Start to add its toll to your route.
  3. Continue through available neighboring squares while tracking the remaining amount.
  4. Reach Exit with exactly the target total, or use Undo to reconsider your previous step.

What does the remaining amount tell you?

It is the difference between the target and your current route total. In the tested puzzle, choosing a 5-toll square changed the total to 5 and the remaining amount from 58 to 53.

Are highlighted squares hints?

No. The official accessible labels identify them as available next squares, not hints. They tell you where a legal next step can go, not which route solves the target.

Do you need to sign in?

Not for the public puzzle. Guest progress is saved on the current device; the site offers sign-in for saving future completions across devices. Both tested guest sessions restored the selected step after refresh.
