What is PetGuessr?

PetGuessr pairs two adoptable pet photos with a name. Choose the animal you think owns that name, then read the revealed identities and shelter details. The daily puzzle has ten rounds and tracks your correct choices; an archive offers earlier puzzles.

How to play

  1. Read the name above the two pet photos.
  2. Tap or click the photo you think matches that name.
  3. Check the revealed names and correct-or-incorrect feedback.
  4. Press Next to continue through the ten-round puzzle.

What appears after a guess?

The game reveals both names, marks the matching animal and shows shelter information. The tested answer displayed breed, age and other listing details alongside a Next button.

Are these real adoptable pets?

The official game credits RescueGroups.org for adoptable pet data. Listings can change or disappear; the game warns that an animal may already have found a home. Check the linked shelter for current information.

Does refreshing restart the puzzle?

In the tested guest sessions, a settled reload opened round 2 and retained the first result. On the phone, an incorrect first guess remained zero correct after reload; progress was not reset to a fresh round 1.
