What is LetterBits?
LetterBits is a daily word puzzle in which every letter is built from geometric pieces. The Bits Bank shows the total pieces used by the hidden five-letter word. Select a letter on the keyboard and confirm it with the return-arrow button. Feedback appears on the keyboard: green means the letter is present, orange means it is absent but could fit the remaining pieces, and red means it is absent and could not be built from those pieces. The alphabet reference lets you compare each letter’s construction.
How to play
- Read the Bits Bank and compare its shapes with the alphabet reference before choosing a letter.
- Select one keyboard letter, then confirm it with the return-arrow button. Read its color feedback before choosing another.
- Use the pencil tool to mark eliminated letters, and check the remaining shapes when considering repeated letters.
What do the keyboard colors mean?
Green identifies a letter in the word. Orange is an absent letter that could be made from the available pieces; red is an absent letter that could not. A previously green key can show a split color when another copy does not belong.
Do I submit a whole word at once?
No. Choose a single keyboard letter and confirm with the return arrow. Selecting a different letter before confirming replaces the selection; it does not build a five-letter typed guess.
Where can I see the letter shapes?
Open the book-style alphabet reference or the How To Play panel. The help panel lists each letter’s geometric components. The pencil icon marks eliminated keyboard letters.
