What is Puzzico?

Puzzico is a five-letter English word game with a shared Daily puzzle and a separate Unlimited practice mode. Each accepted guess reveals checks for correct positions, arrows for misplaced letters and dashes for letters with no remaining match. The symbols make the clues readable without relying on colour alone, while repeated letters are counted one copy at a time.

How to play

  1. Choose Daily for the shared word or Unlimited for a separate practice game.
  2. Type a five-letter accepted word with your keyboard or the on-screen letters, then press Enter.
  3. Read each symbol: a check means the right position, an arrow means another position, and a dash means no remaining matching copy.
  4. Use the full row of clues to choose another word and solve within six accepted guesses.

Why can the same letter receive a check and a dash?

Each answer letter can be used only once when feedback is assigned, with exact positions matched first. One copy can therefore be correct while a second copy has no remaining match. The dash does not cancel the checked letter.

Do invalid words cost one of my six guesses?

Only an accepted guess uses a turn. The official guide says incomplete entries, unrecognised words and words already tried in the same game do not consume a guess.

Will Unlimited replace my Daily board?

No. Daily and Unlimited keep separate games and statistics. Practice does not affect the daily streak. Your record is linked to this browser’s cookie rather than an account, so moving to another browser or device will not sync it.
